Jon L. Sharp, President , CEO - Engine Lease Finance (ELF)

Mr. Sharp is President and Chief Executive Officer of Engine Lease Finance Corporation which he founded in 1989.  He served a five-year graduate apprenticeship with Rolls-Royce and worked there until 1988 when he was Head of Marketing and Commercial of Rolls-Royce’s engine Repair and Overhaul Business worldwide which employed 5,500 people in seven factories in three countries.  He also worked as Managing Director of a major airframe and component maintenance company at London Stansted airport (now SRT Technics) and served as a non-executive director on the Boards of Aerothrust Corporation in Miami and Aviation Industry Press in London.  Mr. Sharp obtained an honours degree in business studies from the University, Wolverhampton and a diploma in international law from the London City University.
